We are located in the Mindo Valley, surrounded by 1,050 acres (420 hectares) of cloud forest where you will find fantastic trails for bird-watching – we have a registry of more than 300 bird species. Also, there are various wildlife species such as the puma, spectacled bear, monkeys, Andean coati, armadillos, white tailed deer, sloths, and an incredible variety of reptile and amphibian. We also have a tremendous variety of plant species. The altitude varies from 2,850 feet (950 meters) to 4,950 feet (1,650 meters), and the isolation of the region has created one of the most delicate, rich, and complex ecosystems known in the Mindo region.
We have 22 comfortable rooms with a private bathroom, restaurant, bar, cafeteria, and a sushi bar; we also have a pool and jacuzzi.
Extreme sports like rafting, tubing, rapelling, mountain biking, kayaking, camping in the cloud forest, trekking, and more are part of the excursions that we organize in our reserve; you can also visit local butterfly and orchid gardens.

Séptimo Paraíso Cloud Forest Reserve is a family-run business.
We have a small recycling plant that produces paper. We recycle everything: glass, plastic, metal, wood, and organic material.
We employ people from the local community and hire local guides for our tours and summer camps.
The success of our business is due to the conservation of flora and fauna. At Septimo Paraiso, we believe that conservation is necessary to be considered a good industry, such that the balance between business and the ecosystem is maintained.
