Description

With a presence in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama, Cactus Tours designs trips with the principles of sustainable tourism in mind. In their daily work, our staff is conscious and trained to consider natural resource protection as well as the social and economic development of the communities we visit.

Based on our 15 years of experience in Central America, we will advise you on the selection of the best sites to visit and the best providers of lodging, transportation, and activities, all based on criteria for quality and sustainability.

Making a Difference

In addition to using environmentally-friendly operating rules, our agency is focused on selecting responsible providers and is developing a project to support small, local providers so that they can expand while respecting the principles of sustainability.

We support environmental and social projects in Heredia, our local community, and an association whose goal is the sustainability and the development of Costa Rica’s national parks. We also cooperate with a rural primary school and tourism micro-projects in the areas where we work.
