Making a Difference

Producción Ecoturística Colotepec, S.C. de R.S. is a community organization, concerned about the management and conservation of our wetlands, as well as the socioeconomic development of the human populations that use these resources. We offer ecotourism and other services in several areas of the economy, all dedicated to conservation and based on common interest such as solidarity, personal effort, and mutual aid.

Getting There

Nearest international airport: Huatulco (HUX)

Nearest local/national airport: Puerto Escondido (PMX)

Travel time to nearest airport: 2 hours from Huatulco and 25 minutes from Puerto Escondido.

We are in the municipality of Santa María Colotepec, 25 minutes from the center of Puerto Escondido, on Federal Highway 200, past the Colotepec bridge.

High-carriage vehicles, preferably with four-wheel drive are recommended because the roadway is not paved.

This area can be visited year-round, but high tide periods limit activities.
