Description

PalmarVoyages is a tour operator and IATA Travel Agency with almost 20 years of experience in organizing tailor-made adventure, nature, and indigenous community tours. We work with responsible partners and service providers such as certified hotels, lodges, and boats. We also offer plane tickets, among other tourist services.

We are located in northern Quito, the capital of Ecuador and first World Cultural Heritage site in Latin America. This small country is considered the most biodiverse in the Americas for its amazing and unlimited natural riches: hundreds of thousands of animals, birds, butterflies, insects, amphibians, and plants species that live in four natural regions: the Andes, the Amazon, the Pacific Coast, and the well-known Galapagos Islands.

Making a Difference

Number of employees: 11

Percentage of local employees: 85%

PalmarVoyages promotes and sells the services of responsible, sustainable service providers, such as hotels, restaurants, lodges, boats, community lodges, tour guides, and more.

We also work and cooperate with indigenous communities in the Andes, the Amazon, and the Pacific coast regions by sending our customers to them for accommodations, meals, activities, guides, and volunteer work. The business we send them provides economic benefits and improved education opportunities, and helps them to maintain cultural traditions and protect their natural resources.

In addition to these partnerships, PalmarVoyages supports humanitarian foundations such as Essor Ecuador, Sol y Vida, Fe y Alegria, and UNICEF, which help the hungry, poor, and ill children in Ecuador. We also support Los Yapas, a conservation project, and a Huaorani community operator, giving them a percentage of each tour sale and promoting their services.

Rates

Our rates span a wide range, depending on the types of services, accommodations category, and trip duration you are interested in. For example, a city tour could cost about $20, while a luxury tour could cost $5,000 or more.
