Description

We are a group of indigenous people offering community guide services in the Lancandon Forest. We are based in the community of Frontera Corozal, in the municipality of Ocosingo, in the state of Chiapas.

We invite you to enjoy our piece of the sky in the Yaxchilán Natural Monument archeological zone. This monument is in the eastern part of the Lacandon Forest, in the region bordering the Republic of Guatemala - it is on the left bank of the Usumacinta River and a large bend of the river that resembles a horseshoe or oxbow.

Other attractions in the region are the Usumacinta River, the Tzolkin grottoes, Las Golondrinas waterfalls, and more.

We invite you to participate with us in the conservation and stewardship of the Yaxchilán Natural Monument by visiting us and using our products and services and donating tools and equipment to help fight forest fires, environmental education materials, and anything you can do to help us take care of our natural resources.

Nearest local/national airport: Villahermosa (VSA)

Travel time to nearest airport: 6 hours

From the Villa Hermosa Airport, go to the city of Palenque and use overland transport to Frontera Corozal.
