Aventuras Tierra Verde is an inbound tour operator in Costa Rica founded in 1995. We are known for offering top-quality service because of our high-quality, unique itineraries and trips, aimed to promote environmental conservation and sustainable development in Costa Rica. Our specialty is tailor-made itineraries for groups and incentive travel, as well as FITs (Foreign Independent Tours).

Aventuras Tierra Verde is an organization that tries to have the least impact possible in order to ensure the perpetuity of our natural, cultural, and social resources. We always have in mind responsible solid waste management, prudent use of water and electricity, and respect for rural communities.

From the moment clients decide to use our services and even before they come to Costa Rica, we give them a series of recommendations about how to help minimize their impact on the resources; we also given them information on how to have a more authentic and rich experience, immersed in the culture and the people.

We develop social projects that help us to become more aware of the fact that we are part of the community and indebted to it. Some of the efforts we carry out are:

• We support the construction of transitional housing with the organization "Un Techo para mi País".
• We help with the collection of solid wastes in the canton of Mora.
• We collaborate with the Specific Development Association for the Historical, Architectural and Cultural Rescue (ADERHAC in Spanish) in the Mora canton, to develop their cultural and artistic activities.

We support community development initiatives by ensuring that our providers are responsible entrepreneurs and that our clients recognize their efforts through support and outreach. We also choose our providers using principles for sustainability, which helps us to offer more sustainable trips and keeps local communities committed to the cause.

We feel that promoting a setting with good relations over the long term is vital, for the members of our team as well as our providers, because this way we ensure a stable work setting and relationships.
