Costa Rica is known for its impressive scenic beauty, a consolidated system of protected areas, social and political stability, high educational levels, and efficient infrastructure and services. The country has a strategic location in the heart of the Western Hemisphere in Central America, bordered to the north by Nicaragua, to the south by Panama, to the east by the Caribbean Sea, and to the west by the Pacific.

The country offers visitors everything from active volcanoes to isolated tropical beaches; both Caribbean and Pacific coasts; wetlands and the last tropical dry forest reserves on our continent; and your choice of rain, cloud, or transitional forests!

Costa Rica is an incredible and diverse destination to explore, and we can confidently say that there is something for every taste!
